Akacieti is one of the small neighborhoods of the Bulgarian Black Sea city of Burgas. Akacieti is located on the Kumluka sand spit and is surrounded by the Yug industrial zone. To the east of the neighborhood is the port complex and the Black Sea. To the west, the neighborhood borders the ring road to Sozopol and Istanbul and the Burgas Lake. To the north, the neighborhood borders the Burgas River, a tributary of the Burgas Lake, and the Burgas-Sofia railway line with the Vazrazhdane residential complex. To the south, Akacieti borders the Pobeda neighborhood through the Yug industrial zone. The emergence of today's neighborhood is closely related to the development and industrialization of Burgas after the Liberation. Initially, the sand spit was settled by port workers and water carriers who brought water from the "Sladki Kladentsi" area located between the Akacieti and Pobeda neighborhoods. Later, several factories and mills were founded there. The majority of its population were refugees from the Aegean Thrace and Macedonia. With the changes that occurred with the adoption of the Burgas urban development plan of 1926, the settlement was included as a district within the city limits. In the northern part of the district is the sports complex "Chernomorets", with the stadium of the same name, as well as the Vocational High School of Maritime Navigation and Fishing "St. Nikola". In the central part is the Vocational High School of Woodworking and the small park "Acacias". In its southern end is the Burgas Prison at 88, "Industrialna" Street. The neighborhood is located about 6 km from the city, about 2 km north of the Burgas Lake. The name of the neighborhood comes from the vineyard massifs that were once located west of it. Dolno Ezerovo is a district of the Black Sea city of Burgas. The district is located 8 km from the center of Burgas. It is located north of the Burgas Lake, which separates the district from Gorno Ezerovo. History After the Inter-Allied War in 1913, 90 Bulgarian families from the village of Tarfa and 50 from Kavakliya, Eastern Thrace settled in the Vayaköy area. In August 1934, Vayaköy was renamed Dolno Ezerovo. The population of Dolno Ezerovo as of 2011 is about six thousand inhabitants. Since 22.08.1991, Dolno Ezerovo became a district of the city of Burgas. In the autumn of 2005, PSFK Chernomorets (Burgas) played its matches at the "Cherveno Zname" stadium in Dolno Ezerovo, and from 2009 to 2012, FC Neftohimik 1986 (Burgas). A bus stop was built near the field - the "Stadiona" stop. In the vicinity of the settlement is the Burgas Lake (a wetland of international importance, the so-called Ramsar site), part of the European ecological network Natura 2000. The protected area is an important habitat for many waterfowl species with high nature conservation importance. Burgas Lake is the largest Bulgarian lake and covers an area of 27.6 km². In its western part is the "Vaya" protected area with the most extensive reed beds in Bulgaria. Here operates the Ecopark for Biodiversity and Alternative Tourism "Vaya", dedicated to preserving natural resources, changing attitudes towards protected areas and raising awareness of the opportunities, benefits and responsibilities for the protection of biodiversity in the Republic of Bulgaria. Here is a kindergarten (ODZ "Koledarche"), a school up to the 7th grade (OS "Hristo Botev"), a community center and a church built in 2005. In 2010/11, a sewage system and a pumping station were built in the neighborhood. The neighborhood is connected to the country's railway network through the Dolno Ezerovo railway station. In the immediate vicinity of the station there is a bus stop No. 7. Famous people born in Dolno Ezerovo: Gergana Stoyanova (February 28, 1972), theater and film actress and television presenter.
